My new hiking book for kids is coming soon and I wanted to share the good news. Daniel, 10, & his Trailmaster Dad are the smiling hikers on the cover. The cover photo was taken in Mt. San Jacinto State Park

The book is part of a “Healthy for Life” series designed for school kids in the 8-11 year old range and will be distributed by Cherry Lake Publishing to classrooms and school libraries across the nation. Hopefully the message of hiking for good health reaches them in an entertaining way. Here is Chapter 1 as a sample.
